About
I develop web and mobile products. From news sites to SaaS platforms, I manage every stage of a project single-handedly, from the initial idea through to launch, and provide its technical support afterwards.
My expertise began with WordPress and has since expanded to cover Laravel, Flutter and server administration.
From analysis to design, from software to server administration, from security to SEO, I have worked at every stage of a project. This experience lets me take on a project from start to finish on my own, and equally makes it easy to work in harmony with design and project teams, speaking the same language.
I studied Information Systems Engineering; my master’s degree in Social Anthropology at Ankara University is in progress.

Method
The project process, from first meeting to post-launch.
This scenario outlines the stages of a web project built from scratch and the tools used at each stage. A WordPress site is taken as the example; the same process applies to platforms developed with Laravel.

Requirements analysis
Every project begins with a preliminary meeting. The need, the audience and any existing system are reviewed; the roadmap defining the scope, sequence and tools is prepared on the basis of this analysis.

Design
Page structure and interface are designed with the content in mind. Visuals are prepared and the layout on every screen size is planned from the outset.

Server setup
The operating system, web server, database and control panel are selected for the project’s load and installed, creating project-specific infrastructure in which every setting can be controlled.

Cloudflare configuration
DNS records are managed through Cloudflare and SSL is enabled end to end. Cache rules are defined by page type, and unwanted traffic is blocked before it reaches the server.

Development
WordPress is preferred for content-driven sites and Laravel for platforms that require a custom workflow. Where off-the-shelf solutions fall short, custom templates, custom fields and, when required, plugins are developed. Code is written and reviewed with the support of AI tools and kept under version control.

Project-specific modules
Every project has different requirements: e-commerce, event management, advertising revenue or multilingual publishing. The shop, payment infrastructure, event calendar and ad networks are integrated as the project requires. On multilingual sites the content structure, URL scheme and language tags are planned accordingly from the outset.

Performance optimisation
Page caching is configured on the server and object caching with Redis, both set up to work in harmony with Cloudflare. Images are optimised for the web, unnecessary scripts are removed and the database is kept in order.

CDN integration
Images, videos and other large files are moved to object storage and served through a CDN. The server only generates the page; heavy content is delivered from the point closest to the visitor.

SEO infrastructure
The sitemap, schema markup, titles and descriptions are completed before launch. Keywords, competitors and links are monitored regularly, and technical issues are identified before they affect rankings.

Google services integration
The site is registered with Search Console; measurement is set up with Analytics and Tag Manager, with events and conversions managed from a single point. AdSense and Ad Manager are integrated on sites that earn advertising revenue, and Google Ads on projects that advertise.

Security
Updates, user permissions and login protection are configured. Cloudflare firewall rules intercept attacks before they reach the server, and access is restricted on the server side.

Backup
Site files and the database are backed up on a schedule with UpdraftPlus, and the backups are stored off the server in Google Drive. If a problem occurs, the site is restored quickly.

Mobile application
An Android and iOS application fed from the same source as the site is developed from a single codebase and published in the stores. New content is delivered to users through push notifications.

Communication infrastructure
Business email accounts are created on the project’s domain. Form notifications, newsletters, SMS and WhatsApp messages are connected to delivery services that ensure they arrive.

Post-launch support
Launch is not the end of the process. The server, certificates, updates and uptime continue to be monitored, and all work carried out is delivered, with its results, in a written report.

News Sites
Systems configured for the requirements of news publishing. Although built on the WordPress core, every component, from the headline layout and columnist pages to the breaking-news feed and category structure, has been customised to deliver the functions of dedicated news software. They are supported by infrastructure and a security layer that handle high traffic, and offer innovative features such as subscriptions together with a strong SEO foundation.
Corporate Sites
WordPress sites that reflect the corporate identity of the companies within Alba Group. Content such as services, maintenance, projects and fleet has been structured around each company’s field of activity. Each site has been developed with a design specific to the company’s needs and with customised plugins.
Projects
Products developed with the new generation of AI tools. In these projects Claude, Cursor and similar tools are an integral part of the development process: architectural decisions and final approval remain with me, while code generation, review and iteration are carried out with AI support. This approach makes team-speed development possible with a single person, and has been applied at different scales, from a brand site to a multi-module SaaS platform.
